Janet has worked in the Sarasota/Manatee County, Florida Commercial markets for the past 12 years. As a General Commercial Broker/Associate, Janet has had the opportunity to work on office & industrial leasing and sales, neighborhood retail, and land acquisitions. Her memberships and participations have included receiving the CCIM designation, Sarasota & Manatee Economic Development Committees, and ICSC.
In the year 2005, Janet was the President of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division and participated on the CID Board of Directors for 7 years. Janet Chairs the Manatee Office Vacancy Committee for the Manatee EDC as well as Chairs the Industrial Vacancy Committee for both Counties. Janet feels that participating in these groups and organizations has been beneficial in networking having first hand experience in the local marketplace.
Before moving to Sarasota, Janet sold material handling equipment to the Coal Mines, Steel Mills, and Utility Companies.
